Going Naked is the first project under the SOtv umbrella, seen under The SOtv channel on YouTube. It is created, written, directed, and produced by Stephani Ouzts. It is a comedic web series discussing the real lives of Brown Men and Women, raw and uncut. Each episode is true, harboring only a few fictional elements for creativity and humor. Over the comedic layer, the issues that Brown women and men deal with are brought to the forefront on a platform designed to uplift and reveal the core issues as it relates to gender imbalance, homosexuality, sexism, classism, religion, socioeconomic status, acting New York, advancement in the workplace, “blooper “dating, and the complex elements of the NYC social scene in the minority community.
CAST

KENYA Jessica considers herself to be an “ever-developing” artist who most recent interests lay in singing and acting. She recently received her BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has had the pleasure of creating and working with Robert Wilson, Richard Armstrong, and Crystal Dickenson. She is committed to the themes of love and race throughout all of her work and believes truly in the healing power of art.

JOURNEY Stephfon is a trained actor, singer, and artist that hails from Beaumont, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, Stephfon reprises the role of Barry “BD”Daniels in James Earl Hardy’s jood love story B-Boy Blues the Play. While in New Orleans he worked with the Anthony Bean Community Theater, ASHE Theater, and La Petit Theater. Going Naked breaks new ground bringing Stephfon from stage to screen embodying the role of Journey Rivers Knight.

MORGAN Kenya is proud and ecstatic to be part of the Going Naked cast.She most recently performed her first installment of her one person show of various characters and monologues which she is preparing to take on the New York school circuit in fall of 2015. Kenya studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, HB Studios as well as studied Acting for Film and Television with Bill Hopkins at Stella Adler. BROOKE Stephani obtained her BA in Journalism and Theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2006. In the duration of that time, she appeared in For Colored Girls, A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream, Home, Tinkerbelle, and several other stage productions. After that, she toured with Rochelle Holloway’s 2009-2011 stage play, Not in This House. Following that tour, she moved to New York in 2011 and she has appeared in plays such as Acts from the Womb, Twice Gloria, and Lizbeth.

COOKIE Cherish is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and studied classical acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London, England. Selected TV/Film Credits: “The Following,” “Episode 50” and “The Houseboy.” Selected Theater Credits: Ida B. Wells in Ida B. Wells: Woman Warrior (AW Repertory), Lady Night in Tragedy at Hood: 14542 (International Fringe Festival), Bianca in Taming of the Shrew (Pulse Theater Ensemble), and Complications (Playroom Theater).

TONI Adrienne is a Manhattan-based actress, dancer and singer. A southern girl who made in to the big city by way of Washington, DC, she has studied acting at The Theater Lab (DC), the Terry Schreiber Studio (NY), and in seminar with protégés of Ivana Chubbuck. A trained stage actress, her most recent roles include: “The great” Butterfly McQueen in Theater for the New City’s Women of the Wind and Lesley in Projection at the New York New Works Theatre Festival.

TOM Sam is an actor/writer who studied theater at the University of New Hampshire and is currently studying improvisational theater with InStudios. Sam just finished a sketch/improv Star Wars themed show and filming a web series episode with Ouzts productions. He also recently filmed a 2 part sketch titled Oscars So White and Retroactive Oscars with director Stephani Ouzts. Sam is excited for the release of the short film Circa ’78.

JAMES Hemang has been trained in Meisner technique and has been featured in many independent feature films and short films. although he has played variety of characters with wide range of emotions, he usually plays comedic characters. Currently, he is playing a supporting character for two major feature films releasing next year.

ADAM Nestor is an American stage and film actor/director based in New York City. Born in the Bronx he can boast an upbringing in both New York and D.C. He attended the famed Actors Studio Drama School and can be seen in the 2015 NYC Fringe Festival in The Merchant of Venice and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Nestor began acting in his mid-twenties after graduating film school, in a pursuit to be a multi-hyphenated artist and entrepreneur.

DR. KNIGHT Roslyn is an alumni of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. As a youth she performed original musical and dramatic material to educate and empower youth with the City Kids Foundation.Roslyn returned to her performing arts roots in 2013 and has performed in several independent films, sketch comedy shows, and tv and theatrical productions. Her most notable roles were in the regional theater production of Menopause the Musical and in Tragedy at HOOD:14542 A Hoodsical.

EARL D.J. loves to entertain and has done so since he was 12 years old. He was a Bottle Dancer/Russian in Fiddler On The Roof in July 2012 with the cast of the King Of Prussia Players in his first musical. In 2009, he performed in The Improv Cafe with radio personality Tiffany Bacon of 100.3 The Beat. In 2011 and 2012 he was seen in Taming Of The Shrew as Grumio , Alladin and The Wonderful Lamp as the Genie, and multiple roles in the interactive play The Greatest Life.

MR. ROGERS David is a professional actor in New York City. He is well versed in various mediums including film, television, commercial, print and internet. His purpose is to share his love and passion for the craft with others and inspire people with his performances. His commitment to character is admirable. He is currently trained by renowned actor Marc John Jefferies and continues to grow day by day.

MRS. ZIMA Mia is a New York based actress, writer and director. She has been in several award winning films including Production and Sleep. She is one of the selected directors for the Lincoln Center Director's Lab 2015 and was one of the the actors invited to participate in the Bloomingdale's Old Vic Classical Theatre workshop in 2014. TINA Patience was born and raised in Philadelphia. She recently launched her acting career in 2014, after moving to New York to attend NYU. She currently lives in Philadelphia, and continues looking for work.

SKYE Nihara is a Chicago-born, New York-based actor, writer, singer, improviser, and producer, who has credits in theatre, musical theater, improv, television, film and commercials. Most recent credits include CBS' "Blue Bloods", Web.com and NYC.GOV commercials, and "Velma The Webseries" (producer, writer, and star) on FunnyOrDie. OMARION John is a Brooklyn born and raised thespian, where he first started acting in musicals at his high school, Edward R. Murrow. John then went on to do straight plays at Adelphi University, where he received his theatre BFA in 2013. Even though John has a love for the theatre he would like to pursue a new endeavor in TV/film acting. John has enjoyed doing a lot of drama but is glad to be cast in this refreshing, original comedy as a stalker boyfriend with a wonderful cast.

ALAYNA A New York Native, Maritza was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She's currently a member of the Complete Theater Company. Maritza comes from a humble background but that did not stop her from making her stage wherever she can make it. This passion is what brought her to take acting classes, including classes at Atlantic Acting School. She pursues roles that are not only strong entertainment pieces but those that challenge her as an actor.

CORY Drego began acting at the tender age of 5. Drego has performed in countless theater productions including several Off-Broadway plays and independent films. He is also the co-founder/host of Monolodge & is the Creative Director for a new initiative of youth programming which cultivates 'Intro to Dramatic Arts' into the educational school system.
